Kremmling, CO (June 30, 2023) – The Town of Kremmling, in an abundance of caution, will forgo hosting the fireworks scheduled for the evening of July 4th due to safety concerns. The Kremmling Chamber of Commerce will still be hosting the 4th of July celebration and activities in the Old Town Square.

For many years the Town of Kremmlings’s 4th of July fireworks display has been occurring from the Kremmling Cliffs. Two locations located on the top of the cliffs have been approved for the fireworks show.

Town of Kremmling Had Elevated Levels of Turbidity

Our water system recently violated a drinking water requirement. Although this situation is not an emergency, as our customers you have a right to know what happened, what you should do, and what we are doing to correct this situation.

The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Kremmling will hold a public hearing June 29, 2023, at 6:30 PM on an application for a use by special review for a storage building that exceeds 300 square feet at 2100 Kinsey Ave. The applicant is Mountain Parks Electric and Nate Towne, 2100 Kinsey Ave. The legal description is Kremmling Country Addition, Lot 8, Block 7. A complete copy of the application is available for review at the Kremmling Town Hall, 200 Eagle Ave.

The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Kremmling will hold a public hearing June 15, 2023 at 5:30 PM on an application for a use by special review for a commercial/ storage building with attached residential unit, fence in excess of six feet, and a greenhouse at 904 Park Avenue. The applicant is The Foamers, Inc., PO Box 6690, Dillon, CO 80435. The legal description is Gore City Addition to Kremmling, Lots 8 – 10, Block 10. The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Kremmling will hold a public hearing June 15, 2023 at 5:30 PM on an application for a use by special review for a storage building that exceeds 300 square feet at 2100 Kinsey Ave. The applicant is Mountain Parks Electric and Nate Towne, 2100 Kinsey Ave. The legal description is Kremmling Country Addition, Lot 8, Block 7. A complete copy of the application is available for review at the Kremmling Town Hall, 200 Eagle Ave.

The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Kremmling will hold a public hearing May 24, 2023 at 6:00 PM, to hear a use by special review request submitted by Nate Towne and Mountain Parks Electric. The applicant is requesting a use by special review for a storage building that exceeds 300 square feet at the physical address of 2100 Grand County Road 22. The legal description is Subd: Kremmling Country Addition Lot: 8 Block: 7. A complete copy of the application is available for review at the Kremmling Town Hall, 200 Eagle Ave.

The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Kremmling will hold a public hearing May 24, 2023 at 6:00 PM, to hear a use by special review request submitted by Shane and Patricia Aschan. The applicant is requesting a use by special review for affirmation of action taken on October 29, 2020 and the addition of a greenhouse at the physical address of 904 Park Ave. The legal description is Subd: Gore City Addition to Kremmling Lot: 8 - 10 Block: 10. The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Kremmling will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 6:00 PM, to hear a Preliminary Plan for the Grand Cliffs Subdivision and PUD submitted by Greg Smith with Shirley and Company, LTD. An emergency ordinance amending chapter 13.04 of the Kremmling Municipal code concerning water service outisde town limits; setting forth certain parameters; authorizing officials of the town to take all necessary action and ratifying actions previously taken, introduced read on first reading, approved and ordered published in summary the 19th day of April 2023.

The Town of Kremmling (hereinafter called the “Owner”) will receive bids for the Town Park Pavilion Project (the “Project”). The project consists of the construction of a new park pavilion. Plans, specifications, and bid forms will be distributed electronically. Plans can be downloaded at Element Engineering under “Project Bidding” and will be available on April 17th, 2023, by 2:00 PM. The charge for plans is $30.00.
