The Kremmling Sanitation District is seeking a full time Operator I (Trainee) for our wastewater treatment plant and reclaim water system. This is an entry level position with good opportunities for advancement. We will provide training to obtain certifications to advance in your career.

Responsibilities include assisting with the daily operations of the collection system, lagoons, laboratory operations, field inspections and sewer service locates, operation and maintenance of lift stations, and operation and maintenance of reclaimed water distribution system.

This position requires that you must be physically capable to walk, climb, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, etc. and able to carry up to 50 lbs. Refer to the job description for more details.

A high school diploma or GED and valid Colorado driver license are required. Other certifications preferred: Small Systems Wastewater license (or able to obtain within 6 months of hire); current Class B CDL (or able to obtain within 6 months of hire).

Starting salary range is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on certification level and relevant experience. There are opportunities for advancement with new licenses acquired. Excellent benefits package includes vacation and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement plan.
