Town Council


Town Council is comprised of six (6) Board of Trustees members and the Mayor. The Town Council meets once a month for a Regular Board Meeting on the Third Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm in the Town Hall Board Room. They additionally meet once a month on the first Wednesday of each month for Board Workshops, to prepare and discuss items for Regular Board Meetings. Mayor – Grover Pryor

Mayor Pryor was raised in Kremmling and graduated from West Grand High School. He owns and operates a trucking company in Kremmling. His family has long been involved in the Town of Kremmling with his Grandmother also previously serving many years as Mayor. Grover was first elected to Mayor in April 2018.

Trustee Wes Howell

Trustee Howell was raised in Kremmling, CO and graduated from West Grand High School. He proudly raises his three children in the Kremmling community. Wes was first elected to Town Council in 2010 serving 6 years, and then re-appointed to a vacancy in 2021. Wes is regularly involved in community pee-wee sports programs and hopes to advocate for strengthening community partnerships and relations.


Trustee Jim Miller

Trustee Miller grew up in Kremmling and graduated from West Grand High School. He moved his family and business back to Kremmling in 2006 after some time away. Jim owns and operates a Computer and Electronics Repair and Recycling business in Kremmling and was first elected to the Town Council in April 2020. He also serves on the Career and Technical Education Advisory Board at West Grand High School.


Trustee Leo Pesch

Trustee Pesch grew up in Peshtigo, WI and moved to Kremmling in 1986. He came to Kremmling after accepting a teaching position in West Grand School District and also enjoys the hunting and fishing the area has to offer. Leo taught for 32 years and coached for 35 years. He is currently enjoying retirement with his wife and three kids. Leo was first elected to Town Council in 2018 and also is involved with the Grand Foundation.


Trustee Doug Prewitt

Trustee Prewitt graduated High School from Glenwood Springs High School in Glenwood Springs, CO. He moved to Kremmling in 1999 and has since built a successful Power and Plumbing Business serving the entire grand county area. Doug was appointed to the Town Council in December of 2021 and has previously served on the Kremmling Fire Protection District Board.


Trustee Dave Sammons

Trustee Sammons came to Kremmling nearly 40 years ago. He is a cattle rancher and entrepreneur, having owned multiple business in town. Dave was first elected to the town board in 2018.
