Temporary Streets and Parks Maintenance Assistant (Public Works Tech I)
The Public Works Department is seeking temporary part time help for parks, streets, recreation, and cemetery maintenance. These are limited-term positions under the supervision of the Director of Public Works. Valid driver’s license required to operate town equipment. Approximately 10-20 hours per week depending on projects and weather from May 1 - September 15). Must have knowledge of plants, flowers, lawn care equipment. Duties include lawn mowing, planting of various kinds, weed maintenance, and general labor tasks as assigned. Must be comfortable working in the cemetery. $14/hr-$18/hr. The Recreation/Cemetery Coordinator performs a wide range of administrative support and oversight for recreational programs, cemetery services and activities for citizens residing in the Town of Kremmling and those in surrounding areas. Part-time employees (less than 30 hours per week) are eligible for sick/PTO time benefit at 1 hour per 30 hours worked minimum. Full-time Operator I (Trainee)
The Kremmling Sanitation District is seeking a full time Operator I (Trainee) for our wastewater treatment plant and reclaim water system. This is an entry level position with good opportunities for advancement. We will provide training to obtain certifications to advance in your career.
Responsibilities include assisting with the daily operations of the collection system, lagoons, laboratory operations, field inspections and sewer service locates, operation and maintenance of lift stations, and operation and maintenance of reclaimed water distribution system.
