Mayor's Declaration of Level 1 Water Restrictions

For Immediate Release

To the Citizens of Kremmling:

Due to ongoing drought conditions and in accordance with the provisions of Town of Kremmling Ordinance 465, I hereby declare that a Level 1 Watering Restriction is now in effect. This declaration is made in consultation with the Public Works Director and Town Manager to ensure the immediate preservation of our public health and safety by conserving our limited municipal water supply.

Under this Level 1 restriction, the following rules apply:

Public Hearing regarding a Variance Request

The Board of Adjustment for the Town of Kremmling will hold a Public Hearing at the Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce building, 203 Park Avenue, Kremmling, CO, on September 4, 2025 at 6:00 PM, to hear a Variance Request submitted by Brad Bailey and Vicky Hinchcliffe, 2560 Apres Ski Way, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487.  The Application seeks a variance to the Central Business zoning District dimensional standards of lot size and setbacks, to allow construction of two detached single family residences on land zoned for CB (Central Business) use.

Public Hearing regarding a Use by Special Review Application

The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Kremmling will hold a Public Hearing at the Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce building, 203 Park Avenue, Kremmling, CO, on September 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM, to hear a Use by Special Review application submitted by Brad Bailey and Vicky Hinchcliffe, 2560 Apres Ski Way, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487.  The Application seeks approval of construction of two detached single family residences on land zoned for CB (Central Business) use.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10 OF THE KREMMLING MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROHIBIT THE USE OF ENGINE BRAKES WITHIN TOWN LIMITS AND TO REQUIRE MUFFLERS ON COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, PASSED ON THE FIRST READING AND ORDERED PUBLISHED BY TITLE ONLY THE 16TH DAY OF JULY 2025. This Ordinance will become effective 5 days after adoption, June 9, 2025. Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Kremmling will hold a Public Hearing commencing at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce, 203 Park Avenue, Kremmling, Colorado 80459.  The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider a First Amendment of the Grand Cliffs Neighborhood Planned Unit Development Guide (PUD).
