Notice of Cancellation of Election and Declaration of Candidates Elected

Notice is hereby given by the Town of Kremmling, that at the close of business on the sixty-fourth day before the election, there were not more candidates for the offices of Mayor and Trustees for the Board of Trustees of Kremmling, Colorado, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on April 2, 2024 is hereby canceled pursuant to section §31-10-507 C.R.S. and Section 2.44.020 of the Kremmling Municipal Code.

Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Town of Kremmling Board of Trustees at a Special Meeting on October 4, 2023 for the ensuing year of 2024; a copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the office of the Town Manager, where the same is open for public inspection at Town Hall, 200 Eagle Avenue, Kremmling, CO 80459. A public hearing will be held on November 15th at a Regular Meeting to be held at 200 Eagle Avenue, Kremmling, CO 80459 at 6:00 PM.

Notice for Planning and Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Kremmling will hold a public hearing November 8, 2023, at 6:00 PM on an application for a use by special review to allow the expansion of the Muddy Creek Cabins to accommodate additional detached cabins/park models in the Central Business zoning district. The Town of Kremmling Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing at 200 Eagle Avenue, Kremmling, Colorado on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. to Consider a Change of Class Application for a New Tavern license at 413 Park Avenue, Kremmling, CO 80459; Applicant: Diggity’s Concepts, LLC & Tenille Collard; Application filed on: September 15, 2023.

Request for Proposals for Fourth of July Fireworks Display Operator

The Town of Kremmling, Colorado (the “Town”) is requesting proposals from qualified private companies or individuals (herein referred to as “contractors”) to provide a Fourth of July, 2024 fireworks display.  All proposals must be submitted to the Town Clerk on or before 5:00 PM on October 3, 2023. Proposals will be presented for the Board of Trustee consideration at the October 18th regular Board meeting for July 4, 2024 fireworks show. Documents will be available September 20, 2023 at 8:00 a.m.

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Kremmling will hold a Public Hearing commencing at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Kremmling Town Hall, 200 Eagle Avenue, Kremmling, Colorado 80459. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider a Final Plat for Grand Cliffs Subdivision Filing No. 1 and a Planned Unit Development (“PUD”) overlay for the Grand Cliffs Subdivision.

Two Found Deceased in Kremmling Home

Kremmling, Colorado – On July 10, 2023 at approximately 11:37 a.m. Grand County Dispatch received a 911 call in regards to a female screaming for help. Initial reports were that this female had located two deceased individuals inside the residence in the 900 block of Kinsey Avenue in the Town of Kremmling. Kremmling Police Department and a Grand County Sheriff’s Office Deputy arrived on scene and confirmed that there were two adults deceased inside the residence.
