An ordinance repealing and reenacting chapter 13.12 of the Kremmling Municipal Code concerning backflow prevention and cross-connection control
Whereas, State regulations require the Town to adopt a backflow prevention and cross-connection control program; and
Whereas, the Town previously adopted Chapter 13.12 of the Kremmling Municipal Code addressing cross-connections and backflow prevention; and
Whereas, since the Town’s adoption of said Chapter, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has adopted new regulations that necessitate an update to the Town’s cross-connection and backflow prevention program; and
Whereas, the Board of Trustees desires to repeal Chapter 13.12 and adopt and codify a new backflow prevention and cross-connection control program as provided herein.
Now, therefore, be it ordained by the Board of Trustess of the Town of Kremmling, Colorado:
