Town of Kremmling Special Town Board Meeting February 8, 2023
The Board of Trustees, for the Town of Kremmling, met in the Boardroom located at 200 Eagle Avenue, Kremmling, Colorado 80459. With Mayor Grover Pryor presiding, the meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. Trustees present: Trustee Miller, Trustee Pesch, Trustee Bakke, Trustee Howell, Trustee Prewitt, and Mayor Pro Tern Sammons. Staff present: Town Manager Ashley Macdonald, Public Works Director Dillon Willson and Town Clerk & Treasurer Teagan Serres.

Discussion and Action 2023 Ground Control & Larvicide Mosquito Mitigation Contract.:
The 2023 Mosquito Mitigation Contract was tabled at the January 18, 2023 Regular Meeting and the February 1, 2023 Special Meeting.
Discussion included the following topics:
- Confirmation of the amount budgeted for 2023.
- Potential additional areas that may require larvicide.
- Projections for flooding based on the current snowpack.
*Mayor Pro Tem Sammons motion to approve Achlys, LLC as the 2023 Ground Control and Larvicide Mosquito Mitigation Contract in an amount not to exceed $36,000 and subject to attorney review. Trustee Pesch Seconds. Voice vote taken; all "aye" votes. Motion Passed
Discussion and Action - 2023 Aerial Adulticide Application Mosquito Mitigation Contract:
The 2023 Mosquito Mitigation Contract was tabled at the January 18, 2023 Regular Meeting and the February 1, 2023 Special Meeting.
Discussion included the following topics:
- Confirmation of cost per aerial application.
- The option of doing less than three aerial applications.
- The different types of chemicals used for aerial spraying.
Trustee Miller Motion to approve Vector Disease Control International, LLC as the 2023 Aerial Adulticide Mosquito Mitigation Contract in an amount not to exceed $57,000. Mayor Pro Tem Sammons Seconds. Voice vote taken; all "aye" votes. Motion Passed.
