To the Citizens of Kremmling:
Due to ongoing drought conditions and in accordance with the provisions of Town of Kremmling Ordinance 465, I hereby declare that a Level 1 Watering Restriction is now in effect. This declaration is made in consultation with the Public Works Director and Town Manager to ensure the immediate preservation of our public health and safety by conserving our limited municipal water supply.
Under this Level 1 restriction, the following rules apply:
- Even-numbered addresses (street numbers ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8) may use municipal water for outside irrigation and other outdoor purposes only on even-numbered days of the month.
- Odd-numbered addresses (street numbers ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) may use municipal water for outside irrigation and other outdoor purposes only on odd-numbered days of the month.
- Town Parks will be watered no more than every third day.
These restrictions are effective immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.
Your cooperation in this matter is vital to our community's water conservation efforts. Please be aware that it is the responsibility of each resident to know the current level of watering restrictions. Failure to comply with these restrictions may result in penalties as outlined in Ordinance 465, including fines or imprisonment.
